Had 3 pulls yesterday after 6 months of the tune.
Stage 2 tune, stock downpipes, AFE filters.. pretty surprising results
656WHP, 789 TQ

Nice dyno, have you taken it to the dragstrip?

So did you do downpipes and exhaust?

Yes, had AMS install high flow cat's, 76mm down pipes and their exhaust system all the way to back bumper. Very nice system, quiet under normal driving but will come alive under power. No drone!! The exhaust is beautiful large diameter stainless steel with a nice cross brace between pipes in the back with "Alpha" laser cut out. Chris and crew are awesome, excellent attention to detail and very customer satisfaction oriented.
Prior to the tune, I has them run a baseline on the dyno and we found elevated IAT's. After some head scratching, they determined there was an air pocket in the divorced intercooler cooling system, they burped it correctly and my elevated IAT's were brought back in line to where they should have been. After uploading their file, they tweaked it to my specific car then road tested for drivability and performance. I dropped off a nice E63S and picked up a very good performing car. Lucky for me, they are only 15 minutes away... There is a big difference between an ECU flash "box tune" and the "custom" tuning process AMS does in their shop...
These guys understand the "sickness" and are more than willing to help lighten the wallet. I also had them install their higher capacity intercooler main core.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Stage 2 needs upgraded plugs and chances of you slipping your tranny increases as you approach the 800 rwtq!
Unless you tell the guys to keep the tq lower??
Sameer can chime in. He knows more about these platforms than I do!

I couldn't live with the fuel smell

In my experience with cattles downpipes, and exhaust. It doesn't smell much at all in the cabin. I have noticed a odor maybe twice, with all windows down and a slight tail wind. Surely you can smell it in the car behind but I am not in there.
