First time posting on this side of the forum, so go easy on me.

I’ve been looking at this 2013 E63 with P30 package - it looks very clean and relatively low mileage. Question though - did the prior owner swap out the center grill and badge, or did any of the 2013s come like this?

And while on the subject - if anyone would be so kind as to direct me to any threads on must have build options and known issues, I sure would appreciate the help.

Looks like it also has some carbon fiber exterior upgrades. You can put a factory grill back on as it's an easy do it yourself fix.

From the front end of the car, both the front grill and front lips are aftermarket. I would check if other modification had been done.

Chances are if the previous owner did that kind of sporty modification he also did a tune on the car too.

It also has a black CF lip on the rear deck - see picture below - was that standard?

it has the H73 CF option, but I thought that was internal only. I’ve posted the full option list below and a few more photos so would really appreciate anything else that pops out to you all.

i guess there is no way to actually check it has a tune?

The rear truck spoiler is a Mod Carbin aftermarket spoiler so it is not OEM. Others might chime in on aftermarket tune and how to check if it’s tuned.

Could be wrong but I don't think even the wheels are standard issue MB for that model year

those wheel caps look stupid on those wheels....whoever had it before ruined it aesthetically

its either a 12 or 13, i think basically same car except the 13 had the updated command system grey color

What is standard for a 2013 E63 with P30 performance pack - does it have a spoiler or just not a carbon fiber one?

I verified by the VIN that it is a ‘13.

I see in the options list it has:
- 797 AMG 19" SPOKED WHEELS WITH MIXED TIRES

Anyone know if those are the wheels pictured above? Also - what the wheel caps should be?

The OEM truck lid depends on the option package that came with the car. If this car has the exterior carbon package ( if it doesn’t have the exterior carbon package it’ll have a white OEM truck lid ), it should of looked like this: This is what my car looks like and as you can see, the wheel is OEM except for the center wheel cap.

I don’t see the exterior carbon package (773) listed in the car’s options. It does have the interior carbon H73, so the owner must have liked CF. Who doesn’t but it is aftermarket then on the front and rear.

'13 and some late '12 has divorced cooling system which is a little better.

I passed on it - the tacked on parts didn’t do it for me (even the badge on the front and grill was loose). Pretty sure it had a tune though - it absolutely barked and pulled very hard.

It is at CarMax - but looks like someone has transferred it to Sacramento South, so probably deciding whether to buy it.
