WHAT SOUNDS BETTER, RESONATOR DELETE OR X-PIPE FOR MY 2010 E63
Hey guys I'm looking to get a little more sound out of my E63, not really over the top just a little more rumble. I just sold my MBH headers because I couldn't pass emissions over here in NY and I put my stock headers and cats back on and it's super quiet. go figure! should I go the X-pipe way or just delete my resonators?

If you want a little more sound, then I would recommend you do both. X-pipe and resonator delete will be a little louder than stock and will give you a satisfying deeper growl at WOT. No droning and the sound is not obnoxious at all. I kept my OEM cats but if you installed race cats I would suspect it would be slightly louder. I did x-pipe and resonator delete and I have no need for it be louder.

If the W212 setup is similar to the W204 C63, I recommend you add a crossover in place of the resonator, either an X or H pipe. Keeping the exhaust straight with no crossover will sound like ****, similar to the W164. My ML63 sounded like a boat, 4 separate cylinders on each bank.
