1/4 mile times 2016 E63 S AMG

What 1/4 mile times do the E63s run at sea level? I'm at over 5000 ft above sea level and really surprised my stock 2016 ran 12.1 here. If I tune it how much quicker would it be in the 1/4 or 1/2 mile?

On a good run they’re seeing mid 11s so you’re doing pretty good for 5k ft. You might be able to see an 11 with a better launch.

Don't use race start...turn traction all the way off...brake boosting to 2700-2800 rpm and launch it. With traction off our cars get 2-3 tenths quicker times in the quarter mile

The launch was good on that run, not perfect though, I had a slow reaction time because I was sitting there trying to let the boost build. The launch could have been better with a little more boost.

this is the fastest method when trying to launch it on a prepped surface.

What about on a non prepped service eg on the street?

wouldnt turning TC all the way off and brake boosting cause wheel spin?

How are you brake boosting that high? When I try in my '16 E63S the revs will never go past 1500-1700 rpms

So best 1/4 times are achieved in this mode. Traction completely off.

no need, just try it with traction control completely off and that should give take the best results from a dog and form a roll as has been mentioned before.

Anybody tested this and have an answer for us?

Wait until the car is warmed up to full temp via the AMG gauge when your oil temp turns from blue to white, push the sport/traction button , at a full stop slam on the brake push pretty hard and hold it now rotate the select knob to R , then the cluster will prompt you to to pull the right paddle shifter to engage , floor the gas, let it rev to 3k let go of the brake and say Bye Bye 🤪

People have reported that comfort suspension, s+ trans, and brake stall to 2000-2500 is best launch with tires at 32-35psi

and I believe it's a push of the traction button not a press and hold until all traction is off ... right?
