Well if the w213 is supposed to be a more harsh ride ... then enjoy your w212 Cadillacs .... aint getting better "next year"

I have 2015 E63S and agree with everyone, the ride quality is pertty harsh. This is my first merc and I was sorta shocked at how harsh and bumpy the ride seemed. Comfort was way too loose. I think I'll give the S mode with 1 bar on the suspension button a try after reading some of the suggestions here. thanks for posting this!

I found that tires make a big deal too ... going from summers to all seasons made a huge improvement

2015 E63S
This is an area that AMG has not been able to do quite right, in my opinion, I’m talking about suspension and overall ride comfort for those of us still looking to get a bit of everyday comfort of our big heavy sporty sedans.
Coming from two previous C63’s, those rides are absolute rubbish. Like, nauseating.
Having had a e39 and e60 m5, they ride like a dream and the e60 would probably still out handle a w212 while providing better comfort.
Going to my 2015 E63S I was also surprised about the ride. It could still be a little less harsh. Let’s face it all this big sedans in the class of car are all within 50-100lbs of each other not like the E has 1000 pounds over the other! So if their all within this size and quiche range, why can’t AMG have gotten it right? You never see the M5 guys complain about ride. I can’t speak of the new 2018 E63 but looks to me from hovering around the 213 forum, might have the same problem.
Well, at least AMGs sound best! Lol

Got a 2019 E63S and yes, exactly the same ride issues. I’m changing tyres and wheels to try and soften it but I am getting used to it now and starting to enjoy the car a lot more.
i gave up fighting this with the dealer and Mercedes, they are adamant that it’s meant to be like that and there shouldn’t be a difference between comfort, sport and sport + settings, honestly that is what the technician told me!
That being said, I spent a lot of time in a RS6 and M5 (F90) beforehand and picked the E63 and don’t regret it. The RS6 is awesome but dated and the new one isn’t out yet. The M5 you can’t get in a Estate version and while it is softer and does everything well, I felt it lacked character and a soul.
Ive got quite emotionally attached quickly to my E63, I like its character and while one day I probably will get an RS6, this car is awesome for a few years!

I agree with you all. On top of the ride quality W212/W218 seats are bad it makes my back hurt.
I have a motto: Step out of your comfort zone - Climb into your E63.
I still love the car HAHA

It's funny, I used to complain about my E63 ride quality so much. But nowadays I drive a Supra and S15....so when I get into my E63 I'm like ahhhhh this is amazing

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I agree....I bought a GT3, which was fantastic to drive, but also has the full GT3 buckets, and I thought the E63 felt like a limo ride after that...
