Mode selector not working

Mode selector not working
Drove to a store today in manual mode, ran perfectly fine. 15 minutes in the store came out and now the mode selector doesn’t work. No more indicator light. Anyone have this issue before? It will switch to S if I hit AMG but that’s it. Hope it’s not something major 🤦🏼*♂️

I had the exact same thing happen to me in my 2011. But then the next day it was gone and it never returned. Just FYI.
If it returned to normal, give it a while before you worry about it would be my suggestion.

Same exact malfunction happened to me yesterday, 2013 E63. Turned engine off and restarted but issue persisted, no driving mode selector. Got back in the car last night, mode selector is working again. Seems like something tripped up the electronics but it reset itself, all good now.
