Cargo weight capacity in the Wagon?

Hello guys,

What is the weight limit for cargo in the wagon? For example, the gf and I have brought home 800-1000 lbs worth of landscaping supplies in her CRV (not recommended, but it was only a short drive), is the 63 wagon capable of this? Will the airmatic automatically raise the car?

Thanks

I don’t know what’s the official rating, but this morning the wagon swallowed up 12 cases of water at Costco and it was fine. Easily has enough room for another 12 cases.

I believe the GVW is 2580 kg with a curb weight of 2025 kg. With two passengers, cargo load limit would be in the 800-900 lb range I'd say.

Hmmm

Well, there are 24 bottles at 16.9oz each in a case which is 3.17 gallons. 1 gallon of water is 8.34 pounds. Therefore 1 case's water weight is 26.34 pounds. Let's round it up to 27.5 with packaging. So 12 cases = 330 pounds. so another 12 cases takes us to 660 pounds. So, YEP, it should indeed haul 24 cases easily buy weight. Not sure about space as I do not have a wagon.

Just having some fun. :-)

Cheers
