Worth getting a PP tune?
 
I drive a w212 E63 non S. Though the car is relatively fast, I feel like it could use a bit more ommph!
A local MB shop says they can upload a stock tune off of a stock 2012 CLS63 S. I know if I get the extra few ponies and torque it would probably satisfy me. Though I don’t know if it’s worth it vs getting a full blown stage one from a company like Eurocharged.
what do you guys think?

Call Vlad and talk to him. He is a very knowledgeable fella and explains everything to you.
I have a stage 1 and a cat-delete. If you were any closer to KW, I'd meet up with you and let you drive my car to see if the difference is worth it or not.

i use to have an E55 with the Eurocharged engine/tranny tune plus pulley. Car was a monster.

I am in Waterloo for a bit today and I won't be back till Wednesday next week.

Car is completely different with a tune.
Maybe a drive can convince you ;) lol

if you're paying for it, theres no sense getting PP numbers. go stage 1. theres no compromise in reliability at all and it will yield more gains than a PP car

I think we need to have an E63 get together in the GTA. I too am contemplating a tune haha

Never heard of anyone getting a upgraded Mercedes PP tune. I would just spend the money on a aftermarket tune because if something did go wrong with a tune that MBusa will deny coverage because your car didn’t come with a PP tune.
