Higher mileage 2012 e63 questions
Hey everyone, first post in this part of the forum, I’m in the market for a 2012-2013 e63! Not to familiar with these cars coming from the 113k platform but I know these cars are beasts. I have seen a great deal on a 2012 e63 with the optional performance package, 19 inch brabus wheels and some sort of Renntech tuning I assume (has their badges all over) only thing I’m concerned of is the mileage. It’s at right around 90k and I’m not sure if this is to much for a car like this

Open the oil cap and check if you have the new timing chain (pictures are at the end of the posted thread)
make sure there is no rattle noise on cold start
there are other things to look for, a pre purchase inspection would be best
however, even if everything seems good, and nothing is wrong its important to know that this is around the mileage where various other things both big and small will start to go wrong so just be prepared in case someting arises
