Stock 1/4 runs
Attaching a few pics of me running my car last night in Cayuga, Ontario.
Track prep was garbage and left left was very bumpy half way through.
Either way, I am #55! The faster times than me in the slips are a JB4/DME downpipes/catless BMW 550i!!!! That thing was FAST!!
He claims around 600 whp! He also said he had octane booster!
Best time of the day was 11.628 W 121.40 mph!
Ps. Car is stock W218 CLS63. Ran similiar times to my E63 when it was stock as well, but different track!

Car was running very consistent.
If you look at the times on the slips were posted, the first 5 slips were all done within 11 minutes near the end of the night before the track closed.

Curious what tires / pressure were you running?
What was the temperature/weather??

Temps were at 11 C... so 52 F??
Was running with a 1/2 tank then got faster as the tank light lit up towards the end of the night! lol
I don't know what octane was in the car since I picked it up last week and it had a full tank!
Now contemplating STAGE 1, de - cat and res delete!

Very consistent!
How were you launching? Using LC or brake boosting?

Decent time for stock for sure. Any plans for EC stage 1 coming up.

If track prep is really bad the technique won’t matter much. But if you’re AWD (didn’t see you mention) with anything remotely close to decent prep you should be able to get into the 1.7s no matter what technique you use.

It was an 2016 E63S , Traction control off, suspension in comfort, transmission in S+ and launch was brake boost till 2K!
Was running crappy 91 octane as well! Weather was a little warmer!
Last night was a bit cold, so I don't think that helped with the launch either.

Excellent.. From what i hear, LC is actually easier on the cars drivetrain and such then brake boosting.

That's a solid 1.5 to 2.0 mph faster than the my stock 16 E63S last year when I went to St. Thomas!!
Stage 1 EC?? De Cat? Is that the route you're going?

I have seen some good results from ec stage 1 or 2 tune on stock cars. Prob go that route Untill I’m able to buy downpipes. I don’t want to cut up my exhaust because then ill have to find cats down the rd when ever I trade in the car. I just did full brakes all around so dp are not in the budget right right now but a tune is 😈

This will fit our cars! It says it doesn't, but it will! That's front rotors! Less than half the price of Canadian OEM!
www.germanparts.ca has the rear brembo rotors
And I get the EBC redstuff pads from www.tdotperformance.
All parts are less than $2K Canadian compared to $4K from dealer!
Go with EC! Vlad is a cool fella to deal with!
My brother took my EC Stage 1 + de-cat while I moved into the CLS!
I will be getting Stage 1 and de-cat in 2 weeks from tomorrow!
You should give them a call as this is their busy time of the year!
Did you make those runs on 91? 94? or race gas from Cayuga?
I've never seen such high MPH trap on a normal gas 63!! That's a strong trap!

Those runs were on petro 94. In between a quarter and a half tank of fuel in the tank. Car was doing 11.7 in the early afternoon, as it got warmer and the wind shifted it kept going faster after the 11.58 I was happy and didn’t run it agian. 11.7 were 121-122 depending on 60 once it got down to 11.6xx the mph was consistent 123.xx. Didn’t go oem decided on giro disk. They are lighter and less rotational mass. Also cheaper for the rotor rings when I need them agian. I wouldn’t mind meeting up seeing how the stage one car feels still on the fence of stage 2 or stage 1

Go stage 1 and keep oem plugs!
Stage 2 means you need to upgrade your plugs and with the added torque, the CHANCES of your tranny slipping in the future is much higher!
A bunch of us will be going there next Friday the 17th weather permitting. Brother will come and him and I will do a comparison between the two cars under similiar conditions and same track!
