2014 Wheel Fitment 20's

Hey guys!

New member here looking for some advice on 2014 E63s Wagon. I want to run 20" Vossen and looking for confirmation on fitment and recomendations on tire sizes.

Fronts 20x9 ET 32 -with 265/30 R20
Rears 20x10.5 ET 42 - with 295/25 R20

baldmike73 May 22, 2019 12:17 PM

i am running vossens VFS-1 - haven't had any issues to date -

20x9 - 255/30 F
20/10.5 - 285/25 R

don't recall offset from memory -

Magno May 22, 2019 09:51 PM

255/30 and 285/25 are the only tire sizes that will work with those offsets. IMHO 35-38et front and 48-52 rear is the sweet spot to fit up to 305s in the back

chiromikey May 23, 2019 12:27 AM

I ran 265s up front on 30 offset and 305s out back with 50 offset with no issues and good fender position.

I'm running the same set up as Vossen are recommending to you,

Fronts 20x9 ET 32 -with 265/30 R20
Rears 20x10.5 ET 42 - with 295/25 R20

I would go with a 285 on the rear if you are lowering you car i actually wish they didn't poke out as much as they do I cant run the car in sport suspension mode after I've lowered my car.. it hasn't hit yet but it will with a 295

Get the right offset and you’ll be fine...

9.5/x21 F, 11.x21 rear....

Careful--
a 212 is not a 212 is not a 212....and it's not just the facelift. I would test fit anything before mounting tires.
Big stuff will work, but it has to be just right....
Here's a picture of my 213 RT wagon on 21" Vossen.....

Wow, I can't believe that a 35 would work in the rear without a bunch of interference...just proves my point, you never really know what will or won't work on these cars...Looks good BTW....

Yes but he is running a narrower-than-stock 275 tire so a 35et works in that situation.

Like mentioned above tire size/tire brand/ride height/wheel width/offset are all factors in fitment.

All w212 facelifted E63s will have the exact same fitment across the platform as long as all above factors are the same!

allenjdmb May 25, 2019 12:09 PM

This is why I'm encouraging everyone to ...

...use caution in their fitment.
There is no way that the 35 ET wheel in the picture above will work on the rear of my car. Not even close. In ended up with a 10x20 ET50. I note that our colleague above with the car similar to mine is using the 10.5ET 42, which I and Vossen expected would be smooth as could be. Not. Not even in the same zip code, way outside the fender. (The thought that the tire makes that big a difference is incorrect. If the wheel is way outside the zone, no tire is gonna matter, unless you want it to look like one of those silly stretched and poked cars).
I"m just saying, be careful, most folks aren't going to take wheels back after tire are mounted. Be careful!

Is your E63 pre or post facelift? The rear fitment is slightly different on the two due to fender shape. I run a 20x10 ET45 on a post-facelift but with a 295/25 tire and it is close to flush. I think i would have rubbing with ET35, however, maybe the narrower tire would compensate.

allenjdmb May 25, 2019 01:10 PM

15...facelift..

Even the guys at the wheel manufacturer are shaking their head, and they say it's not the first time....

Ed99 May 26, 2019 01:25 PM

I am running a more aggressive set up with 20x9.5 31et front with 255/30/20 and 20x10.5 32et with 285/25/20 lowered right now.

I still have some room up front and my rear has a good 5mm poke. No rubbing with 1.5 finger gap in the back.

bribassguy May 26, 2019 03:25 PM

I what about stock ride height? I would be putting them on a 2014 e63 s wagon

Looks good. Will that make a difference being slightly different diameters front to byword ack?

Will 295 go on stock ride height. I don’t plan on lowering but would roll fenders maybe if needed.

On stock height that set up will stick out well past fenders.

allenjdmb May 28, 2019 01:11 PM

To me, the 295/25 just doesn't look that good cosmetically anyway. If the ride height is OE, then for sure no. I know you think you want to get the most meat on the road, but the reality is that it's a bit too wide, and definitely too short...

Do you have any pics of your ride on 20x10.5 45et with 295/25/20?

Thanks and how much more room left from rear tire and fender. Do you think 305/25 would fit without rubbing? Would you have more rear wheel pics? Thx
