Mine has a nasty sound on impacts, tech seems confident that's where it's coming from...
Here's something else too, have you noticed that your facelift front fender liners are noisy? Mine rattle like crazy when you touch them...think I'm going to take them off and line them with Dynamat...
Ridiculous how little road insulation these late model cars have.

I had a rubbing noise when making turns a low speed like in parking lots. I pulled both struts out of front, compressed the springs and replaced the strut bearings. The sound is gone. The part I used is in the link below.

T Cob - Did you need to remove the mounting plate to get the bearing off? Or is it as simple as removing the 21mm nut, compressing the spring, and replacing the bearing. Looking at pictures of the mounting plate I don't see any moving parts and thus no reason to replace those.
I'm having a similar issue and considering tackling this myself. Would anyone recommend replacing the strut bumper as well while I'm in there?
Also, if anyone knows the part number for the bearing for 2014+ 4matic, I'd appreciate it. The diagrams shown on most MB parts sites show the bearing but don't list a part number.

My noise is a plastic sounding "chucking noise", not metal on metal, or rubber on metal. Sounds like something shifting when i hit an expansion joint, etc. Just turned 28k miles...
