Could be the sunroof drain in the rear sunroof pan has become dislodged or possibly clogged. The tube runs in that vicinity.

Sunroof tubes alright. Clean them carefully so they don't get dislodged. Then you have a real ****show on your hands. Plenty of write-ups on how to do that on the interwebs.

use compressed air to shoot thru the drain tubes or you can "fish" a speedometer cable thru and snake out the blockage.

Very careful with this approach. If there is blockage you may disconnect the tube instead.

2011 E350 Wagon
Hello,

Just finding this thread.

Just took possession of a new to me, 2011 E350 wagon.

Gave it a good detailing and noticed a lot of debris in the sunroof track and a bit of staining on the interior headliner on the passenger side near the panoramic roof. I watched a couple of videos about sunroof drains and decided to see if they were clogged. I poured some water into the track and was surprised to see water coming down the WINDSHIELD from right in FRONT of the glass panel of the panoramic roof. Its appears to be bypassing the A column drain hoses and discharging in front of the glass pano panel where it joins the windshield.

I am confused, since i would assume it should drain as many have suggested, down a hose in the A column and out into the wheel well.

Anyone have any clues? I am not sure if someone tried to 'fix' a leak this way? Is this an issue or concern? There have been several recent rain storms, and I washed the car for hours when I brought it home and there is no moisture that I can detect now...(but maybe I am just not seeing it??)

ANy help would be appreciated.

Cyndi

Cyndi - did you ever figure this out? I'm having an identical issue and have confirmed that the drains are working correctly.
