Been noticing I get a low pitch groan at low speed turns every now and then. Mostly pulling into parking spots. It sounds kind of like when you run a wet finger around the edge of a wine glass. Any ideas?

At full lock by any chance? I recall having experienced that (or similar) at full lock occasionally...Haven't, knock on wood, in a long while.. then again, I barely drive this thing. I absolutely try not to go full lock.

I had something similar and noticed the sound when I got out of the car as well, turned out to be a control arm that needed to be replaced.

It's definitely from the front. I've heard someone mention a noise associated with control arm failure but I'd never expect it to be that kind of noise. I'll see if I can do some more research.

It's pretty unmistakable to hear.

Funny, that turning groan noise just started with mine. Only hard to the right.
Had the wife turn the wheel while I had my head under the hood. Couldn't hear the noise there so might be in the steering system underneath? I know there was a recall but mine was already serviced.

I'd say it's in the steering system with 90% certainty.
Got my 14-16 rear diffuser pieces but they sent me chrome trim instead so those pn's were incorrect..
The correct night trim pn's for the rear diffuser are
212-885-10-00
212-885-53-21
212-885-54-21

The OEM CF diffuser is too expensive. Just the tow hook cover is around $200. I'll keep searching for a renntech diffuser for sale.

I hear it most often when the car is parked overnight and I take it out in the morning, the suspension is stiff/cold and it produces the sound.
gorgeous spec 63, btw.

You know, that makes a good bit of sense. Since it's a macpherson strut, It might be binding on slow turns. I will try greasing the upper hat and spring to seat.

I had a similar set on my 997 TT and kept the wheels when i sold the car. I still have the wheels, very rare factory option

No regerts lol.
I can't believe I almost sold my car before the market went nuts. It would take more than 6 figures for me to let it go now.
That is a gorgeous 911 btw!

Beautiful Wagon.
I did have a couple of questions,
Did you replace the stock struts with aftermarket?
if so, were you able to to retain the adjustable suspension?
C-comfort, S-sport, S+ - Sport Plus?
