Winter storage
Hopefully be picking up a e63s in the upcoming weeks. I plan on parking it inside a heat garage for a few weeks possibly months, but don't have access to any outlets to plug a charger in. Would disconnecting the battery for a long period of time do any harm to the vehicle?

You probably already know this but if it’s a lead battery it’s going to naturally discharge even when disconnected, so you’ll either need to get a charger anyhow, or plan on reconnecting every few weeks (or month?) and run the car to charge back up.
I couldn’t imagine not driving this thing for more than a few days at a time, it would be soul crushing. Kinda like having a hot wife that goes to bed early every night!

I just feel bad that the E63 is being parked for the winter.
Winter time is when my E63 gets driven the most, I call it the winter beater.
As for parking cars for 6 months, I just put in fuel stabilizer and a full tank of gas. If a full 6 months I will put a battery tender on. If just a few months, I have never had an issue parking it and leaving the battery to do whatever it does. I think if the battery is in good shape it should manage 2 months. Never had a problem rotating through 4-5 cars over a year for the last 20+ years.
