I’m a long time Porsche owner and looking to replace my daily 09 Cayenne S with 105k miles. I sell Real Estate and needed a sedan with my budget have to go 14-15 base E63 I found one with 49k miles that has 1 year left over in a fidelity warranty so prob will just extend that while it’s active . Any maintenance recommendation at this mileage? I really love the car I tried a 16 C63S but the E63 even with the older interior still superior in my opinion..the newer E63S still out of my budget
I currently have a 115k mile tuned 996 turbo and wifey drives a Macan S so it’ll be solely my car does Mercedes provide maintenance records if I provide a vin? I want to tune the car with renntech and make sure all plugs,coils are good..I see records on carfax but not specific.

Good luck with the purchase. When I bought mine, I changed out a bunch of fluids (oil change, diff flush, trans fluid, etc.), changed spark plugs, and the car was asking for B service in about 1k, so I went ahead and did that as well. Some of it probably not necessary, but I did it for peace of mind basically. Then tuned with ECU/TCU tunes from Eurocharged. Really happy with the car at this point. There are a number of good threads on here as to what to look out for pre-purchase and what to do after purchase (both maintenance and mods-wise). Welcome!

We probably know each other from RL and you might have seen my post there about my recent purchase of a '14 E63S Wagon too. These cars are blast to drive and for the most part pretty reliable too. The "S" version has more power than the "non S" so you might want to look into that too.
One thing for sure, you won't be disappointed with this car, the power and sound is addicting.

thanks for the helpful info.... i notice a lot of members use Eurocharge here .. i was gonna use renntech i'll research on that more if i pull the trigger...

yes i see you on RL long time member as well. i found your thread... congrats on that awesome wagon... i found an S wagon at a local bmw dealer but it was sold so fast just like the homes here int he bay area lol!
Same with the S Sedans they sell so quick as well ... the one i found has another year of fidelity and have new brakes which is good..lol... enjoy your car! will let you know if it happens...

It looks just like mine. After working at Porsche for 11+ years with every model in the driveway this E63 is one of my favourite cars. Mine’s completely debadged with Slav’s ECU tune. When the prices come down on TCU tunes, I’ll add that and a Blackboost intake. Nice 996 turbo by the way. They’re finally get appreciated. Didn’t want to break it to the Performante owner that this sleeper just might take him. 😀

ha! thanks!! nice ride!! my 996 turbo has over 100k miles tuned....very reliable.... there's a guy on rennlist that has 600k miles on his lol!!
