Does anyone know what’s this part that is leaking oil?

When I was doing the oil change today, I found there is some oil in the following picture marked by the red arrow. Does anyone know what’s this part? Should I tightened that plug? It’s connected with the engine oil pan. To make sense where it’s located, the part that is circled is the engine oil level sensor.

The black part is the oil level sensor.

There's several things going on in that picture. You circle the oil level sensor, from this angle it looks pretty dry. The arrow points to the bolt that attaches the front diff to the oil paint. It has nothing to do with the leak. To the left of that bolt is the drain plug for the front diff. However, I don't think that the oil would climb up and cover the rest of the diff like your picture..
If I had to take a guess, I would say your passenger side axle is leaking where it attaches at the diff... Just above your arrow.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah the leaked oil doesn’t look like engine oil at all. It’s gold color but my engine oil is way darker when I was replacing. I think what you said makes sense, i.e. the front diff fluid wouldn’t climb up and cover the other area of the front diff (btw, why is there no front diff fill plug? We only have the drain plug for front diff?). So very likely the leaked fluid is tranny fluid. I’m planning to follow what you said and take a closer look the coming weekend. Hopefully I can identify the leaking source. Let me know if there is anything else I should pay attention to particularly when inspecting.

I'll have to double check the WIS, but I believe to fill it, you have to pull an axle out.
How many miles on your car?
