Intake Valves and coolant line
I'm taking apart my engine to access the coolant valve on the back left cylinder bank. Once I got the intercool/intake manifold out I noticed the intake valves are really dirty.
My car is 2012 E63 with about 86000 miles on it. Is there anything I can do while I have the intake off to clean the valves? Has anyone come the across this before. Thanks
Intake valves
Old broken part on left and updated part on right without the part that is known to break.

what’s your diy banana skills and how long did it take to get your intake off. This project is on my radar along with boroscope on the cylinders.
thank you
I think the hardest part of this job was getting the fuel lines off and disconnecting the two vacuum lines on the back side of the intake manifold. To get the fuel lines off I had to loosen one of the pressure regulators which was under a foam insulation which ripped but not to worried about it.
But there is so much extra stuff that has to come off just get access to certain parts. Like the radiator fan needs to come out, all four intake/charge pipes need to come off. Disconnecting the right engine harness and loosening the left side. I broke a few clips here and there but nothing that is detrimental to the car.
As far as time goes, it took me about 6 hours to get access to the part. That's with stopping for lunch and just given my back a break. So it probably would take someone with the right tools and know how 4 hours? I hope to have it all back together today but probably won't happen since it's the super bowl.
