Pre-facelift wheel offsets
I've recently purchased a pre-facelift w212 e63 amg here in Australia. I am about to pull the trigger on some forged wheels, reviewing of the other wheel fitment threads and specifically @jimminez gorgeous wagon/recommendations I am about to go with 20x9 ET33 on the fronts and 20x10 ET45 on the rear but with 255/285 rubber.
My question is, from searching other posts, pre-facelift cars may have less rear fender to work with space wise? Upon review it also seems all mention of 20" offsets are for facelift cars, and I believe in the USA they had 4matic.
Would 4matic affect the offset on the front and does the rear on a pre-facelift have less space to work with?
Wheel spacers here in Aus are illegal and void insurance if it comes to light they were used, so I'd like to get as flush a stance as possible without using them, but if ET33 on the front and ET45 on the rear won't work with a PFL what would be safer specs?
Offset/fitment magic is very new to me so appreciate help with my naive questions.
I don't recall hearing the W212 being different in the rear fenders here in the US. Anyone who has heard otherwise, please chime in. What I recall reading with regards to fenders is that the non-AMG W212 have narrower front fenders; Again, if anyone is more certain about this, please chime in.
4MATIC does NOT affect what offset you should choose for your wheels.
appreciate the help with the question though, sounds like the offset will work then.

It will tell you much more/less they will stick out, and understand if it's still within the fender or not. I have 9.5" offset 35 and they are perfect, but mine is a 4matic facelift.
