Install as was quoted. Stealth doesn't list the AMG version on their page as they have not put the R&D into a lower volume trim. The worry was the potentially larger exhaust or length of drop for the hitch. Therefore, they just don't list it as compatible.

I had a shop install a hitch on our X3 and they had to trim a 2" x 1" out of part of the rear bumper, only seen if you lay on your back and look up at the hitch.
Curious if they had to trim a similar cutout on the diffuser? Any pictures from the rear and the 'bottom'?
Thanks for the info @Rickflair01

Just be aware of a few things:
- The wiring is a bit... wonky. 4pin Uhaul type of wiring, easy. 7pin, more complicated.
- The hitch requires that one of the vanes on the diffuser to be trimmed. This is hardly noticeable, but worth mentioning as it's the one thing that makes this irreversible.
- The hitch replaces the bumper beam. Save the bumper beam though, as if you want to reverse everything, finding a 2014 bumper beam is very very difficult or very very costly. The AMG bumper beams ARE different than the non-AMG cars.
- I used one of the auto transport Uhaul trailers, notorious for being on the heavier side (ie. 2200-2500lbs). Both the trailer and the Noble put the tow weight at around 4500lbs... the wagons weigh 4700lbs, so you want whatever you're towing to be less, generally. Either find a lighter trailer or opt for the motorsports trailers that Uhaul has coming out (or released in some places).
- The wagon towed better than a 2012 Tundra I have. The wagon could tow at 80mph without a problem, up a 5% grade. It drank a lot of gas doing it, but it could maintain 80mph.
- If you use any of the lane keep/parking features, they will go a bit weird when trailering. You can use cruise control, but it may go into fault up a hill or if the trailer isn't loaded correctly and you won't have cruise control.
- Brakes are more than enough to stop. I had to panic stop one time due to an accident happening in front of me. Stopped without much drama.
- I would just keep an eye on temps on hotter days and up hills, especially long ones.
- It was EASILY the best modification to the car. Turned my wagon from being useful to being truck like. I could grab a utility trailer and load it full of home depot supplies and still have the interior for whatever.
- I checked the hardware where it bolts to the car, as well as any other hardware before / after almost every tow event, just to make sure nothing got loose or was bent, considering I was using the system in a way it wasn't necessarily designed. I removed the hitch before selling the wagon, and the frame was still as it was before, with the bumper beam bolting up as it should. This was after about 6000+ miles of towing.
