Fidelity FTW
- coolant reservoir crack
- Timing cover oil seepage
- Park button failure
- Control arm failure (from an already replaced control arm!)
- Oil pump valve leak and fault (fault likely due to unplugging but the leak was present before.)
All-in: $9900 including the alignment post-control arm failure. The car had a Fidelity Platinum warranty expiring in NOVEMBER that was transferred as part of the sale.
they covered all for the tidy sum of $100 deductible and everything is humming, but no longer vibrating. All cam sensor connectors checked and dry. Feeling like I got very lucky very early and now I have a nicely sealed up car as the rear main seal was done before purchase. Car has just 38k so knocking on all of the wood!

I’ve had searches set up for a while, no luck so far. I guess they know people lol

I have a leak from the front valve covers, and from the front valve solenoid that sprays oil on the subframe and oil pan. I have a leaking CV, bad struts bearings.
The inspector came out last week and reported no active leaks visible from the valve covers or oil pan connector.
They are denying the claim. Probably only the CV will be accepted (still waiting to know 7 days after inspection). Any suggestions?
I have Fidelity Platinum.

I understand I’m not a warranty expert, but I’ve also never been denied a repair that was covered by the contract. I would ask any inspector to prove that any part was designed to have a crack in it, an active leak, or performance outside of perfect. Personally, I have found many of these insurance inspectors to be completely uneducated in the vehicle platforms that they are inspecting and an absolute waste of the air that they breathe just like every other person that inserts themselves as a barricade to the simple ethical processes of life. Unfortunately, sometimes it is up to the customer to make the demand for what is right and owed to make them whole….but make sure the dealer you work with also has some pull. I literally had zero contact with the warranty company and as the poster above said, they cost me 100 bucks for about $7000 worth of work when I went in before my warranty ran out. Total payout was around $10,000.
The technician noted front covers and coolant lines leaks, but the inspection report by the inspector says that he did not see any active leaks.
I am at the dealership right now, waiting for the tech that worked on my car to ask him to take a couple of pictures of the connectors leaking. Hopefully he has some time to do it.
