Winter setup
Tried the roadside assistance button but call wouldn't go through from my mountainside location. Had to get out of the car and call Mercedes assistance number from my iPhone. Had to wait 3 hours for truck to arrive. In my case it was an inner sidewall puncture from a sharp rock I apparently hit while cornering - never saw the rock. Tried the inflater initially before the sidewall puncture was discovered. Zero pressure increase with my puncture, but with a smaller puncture the fix-a-flat and the inflator would probably be OK.
Had to buy a new rear tire. I was planning to replace the tires anyway in just a few weeks anyway so that wasn't that big of a deal. Primary bummer was I didn't get the chance to spend some quality time in drift mode to polish off the remaining rear tread before the tire swap

I carry a plug kit in my Jeep and it also has a full blown compressor built into the winch, but thankfully haven't had any flats myself. Had meant to add a plug kit to the Merc as well but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Wouldn't have helped in this case, but will put one in there anyway along with an additional fix-a-flat can.
BTW, the roadside assistance was no charge which was a blessing as I was about 40 miles from the dealership.

That is a shop rag in the milky sealant
The culprit
I was there for the replacement. Was not a big deal actually. The sealant stays in milky liquid form. Easy to clean.

Also ordered these recommended wheels - which are somewhat similar to the OEM wheels.
Look for the Flow 1 F2 Gloss Black - other link was not working.
And ordered tire pressure monitors for $160. All in with shipping was $2,249.

SP WINTER SPORT 3D - SIZE: 265/35R20
the new Hammer handled everything with aplomb and zero drama. Recommended.
Pic out the window shows the patio table that was bare of snow 3 days ago.

Im picking up mine tomorrow and Monday im going to get the same MB winter tire setup that you have. Amazing how almost no one could confirm the 2018 MB winter wheel/tire stagard setup will fit the 2019 model. Maybe some day MB website will be updated for the 2019 models when the 2020 come out.
Cheers,

The rims are part #s in the US

I’m not sure if they come with rubber but you can certainly order them from US parts departments.
I saw a set on eBay being sold by a dealership earlier this year.
Those prices are per rim without tires. Too rich for my taste for a set of winter rims.
I’m looking to go to 19” for a winter set up. Major reason is despite not being freezing yet, my summer tyres are not liking 3-4 degrees and I’m finding my 20” set up quite harsh on some roads.
I have no experience in this area but not looking to break the bank as intemd using my summer set up every year as well.
i came upon a site in the UK with the following, does anyone with experience have any views? I know the wheels are not high end but will they be ok? What about the tyres?
Any input greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find something in 19 with not adapter that is a quality wheels. I don't trust no name cheap china from tire rack.
It also seems that the 19 OEM are out of stock.
As far a tires probably would go with Mich all season or snow.
