Winter setup

hide dirt because you won’t be cleaning them that often.
Gotcha! The the thing is that the silver turns a dirty brown and so does the black. Sort of a losing battle during the winter. I have the power washer set up to clean the wheels quickly. The rest of the car is foamed and hosed down.

btw, the mb.ca website says factory 19" winter set offering for E53 cost around $4700 Cdn + tax + installation.

From research ... looks like your E53 has this setup
F: 245/35 ZR20 on 8.0 J x 20 ET 20
R: 275/30 ZR20 on 9.0 J x 20 ET 49
If you want square 19" setup ... I would suggest
Front Wheels: 8Jx19 ET20 245/40
Rear Wheels: 8Jx19 ET40 - 45 or 8.5Jx19 ET 40-49 245/40

no. Your front offset is 20 factory and you will need to be in around that figure. Otherwise, your aftermarket front offset with 40 could cause rubbing

for example.
factory front: 19x8 et20
if you go aftermarket front: 19x8.5 et40 ... then based on the calculation ....
an inner rim which is 26.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 13.7mm less than before.

Do they allow studded tires in Canada? In that case I would go for the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 studded tire. Really just the best winter tire I've been using ever.
I'm using 255/40-19 on my E63S
