One guy out there said this is a mule car or something for the GT... I call BS on that. Why build-out the wheel wells and go through the trouble of testing on the E platform? I have the question into my dealer ahead of my order.... waiting for some intel back.

The guys are called MastersOfSpeed. They have a Brabus G63 6x6, 4x4 squared, 300sl and many more cars including a car apparently called the AMG GTRS. I think the C63S is owned by a prince in the Netherlands, maybe the rest of them are too. The R badges are apparently just a joke, they call the cars C63S and E63S on instagram. It was also this E63S which beat a Huracan Spyder.

those cars are nothing more than e63 and c63 with a wrap for Laureus.....Laureus is a global sports-based charity that works to improve the lives of young people.

Laureus was founded by its Patrons Richemont and Daimler and is supported by its Global Partners Mercedes-Benz and IWC Schaffhausen.

its just a charity that MB supports.... kinda like if they gave the car to "march of dimes" and then it had a march of dimes wrap on it... replace "march of dimes" with "Laureus" in that example and that is what you have.... stock e63 with a charities stickers on it to draw attention for the charity

Thanks for the response. Yes, familiar with Laureus Foundation (was at the awards ceremony in Barcelona over a decade ago.)

I'm just curious about the 'real' story behind these cars.

Nice pic! That car has been spotted a few times before. Seem to recall they thought it was a mule for something else, not that we would see a BS Wagon. Hope they're wrong.

Mercedes has been 3D printing one off body panels and parts for a while, so we can't really infer anything about production possibilities from seeing seemingly bespoke body work any more. The E400 All-Terrain 4x4 Squared has one-off 3D printed fenders, for example. As much as I would love a E63S Black-Series Wagon, it's probably not going to happen.

I believe the wide-arched E63 estate that was spotted doing rounds was a mule for the GT four door (AMG themselves said the E63 estate was used as the platform for it)
