New registered user, but have been watching these threads for months now. I have an Edition 1 on order from a dealer in the Bay Area. Got fed up, and drove there this morning and forced them to call the VPC while I was there. Two pieces of good news. The E43s that were being held at the Long Beach VPC were released today. And the guy on the phone from the VPC said that the necessary work needing to be done on the E63s would be done over the next 2 days, and they are slated to be released next week. So my dealer is anticipating a delivery the week of October 9th.

On a side note, the dealer offered me $5k off sticker for this insane wait, without answers.

Sales guy didn't ask, I didn't care. But he did make it seem like whatever needs to be done on the E63 had to be done to the E43s first.

I think in another forum they said it was software updates?

Dealer confirmed E43 were released today. Not sure what that means for E63 but at least something got released.
