Open space in spare tire well?
Does anyone know if there is open space where the spare tire would have been? I’m getting a wagon and was hoping to mount a subwoofer under the floor where the spare would have been....

Saw the well in a wagon - already sold, so couldn't drive - when I tested an Edition 1 (not yet sold!). There's "some" space, yes. BUT, there is all sorts of stuff in there - I think the SA said it was the canister for the side airbags (?) and some other stuff. But on top of the installed stuff there is probably 4" of clearance to the cover panel - maybe more. You'll obviously have to measure, but my guess is that there'll be an in-wall sub or something you could get in there. Just make it fold up with the cover panel in case the gear in there needs servicing.
