What does this button do??

Noob here. Had the car two days. When I hit this button the display says "vehicle rising" and, indeed, the car does increase in height. I assume this is for parking close to curbs or steep ramps. How to lower the car? Does it go down on it's own at some point? Once it has risen, if I hit it again it continues to display "veihicle rising" but nothing happens......

Yes, that raises it.

It will lower automatically, once you change to one of the other driving modes (Sport, Sport+).

That button was extremely useful for me yesterday. I have a building with a weirdly sloped garage driveway. Used it, car rose and went down perfectly. My partners new C63s coupe couldn’t even get up the first part of the slope without rubbing and lifting his back tire a few inches off the ground.
I didn’t know about that feature but now am very grateful for it!

For future reference, here are the relevant pages from the Owner's Manual for the Canadian Wagon version.

Interestingly, the vehicle can be driven up to 50mph in the raised position. This will definitely be useful that few times during winter.
