Just vinyl wrapped the rear trunk lid that was chrome. Could not stand that look on a sports sedan that had the night package.
Here is a pic.

The car is there now so can’t check but pretty sure that is just a reflection and it’s all black from
the factory.

also had them do the chrome on the door handles for my own addition to the night package

Great idea - thanks for sharing! I am going to have the chrome strip on the back of my new wagon wrapped black too. Regarding the door handles, did you wrap just the chrome upper portion of the door handles or the lower painted part as well? Does the wrap interfere with the sensor function on the back and front sides of the door handles?

I have a C350 2014, I took that piece of the trunk, I think it was around 2-3 screws, rubbed down the chrome with 300 and then painted myself, you either flat/satin it or spray the plastic rap, it cost me around $8 easy job. I did not do the door handles as my car is white and they do not show up much.
I also took of the trim piece above the doors around the roof line and blacked it out. I left the door/window trim on and masked it and applied etching primer and then Satin black.It took me around 3-4 hrs to do a proper job, again spent $8-$10 for materials. There are several great U tube videos on this and they do a good job of explaining what to do.
