Canyon Carver
Hey guys I picked up my wagon this Saturday and put 400 mi. on it in the canyons this weekend.... Awesome car to replace my 991 Turbo S. I did notice some brake peddle mush with the CCB so the fluid is getting flushed and replaced with Castrol SRF to deal with the beast's 4700lb weight on the downhill.

Hope that takes care of it. I didn't have any peddle mush with my CCBs.
Is that photo by chance taken in So Cal? Looks like any number of the canyon roads around here.
Can't wait for my car to make its way over to the states and to go make a run up Palomar Mt and cruise some of the other great roads here.

There is a whole bed in process for carbon ceramic. Its a big procedure that has to be follow especially if you are tracking. When you say canyon you could be using them almost as hard as on track especially if a lot of down hill braking .If you don't bed in ceramic correctly they will seem soft and never have that good initial bite

Thanks guys, the issue I had during my test drive in the canyons [50 mi.] was with the peddle getting soft with moderate braking on the downhill and it firming up again once I was on the flat section returning to the dealership.
Dot 4+ is not up to the task in a 4700 lb. beast.
This car will never see a track but it will be driven hard in the twisties in So Cal. ACH Hwy.

Also, what is the proper process for bedding the CCB? I will be on my first set with the wagon.
Enjoy

Love it, lowering makes the car look so much more sleek and I like the rebadged look too. Awesome. I'm gonna have to take a trip at some point with my car to someplace that has decent canyon roads to drive, most of the roads here in Florida are straight and flat as a fritter, although there are some hills around the Ocala Area, I'll have to do some investigation on that one and see if there are many good country roads out that way to drive that might be a more interesting drive than around Sarasota where I live. Also around here everywhere you look cops with Radars

Now to get alignment specs for handling and it's off to the canyons and see what corner exit speed is really like.

I tune it.
Thanks again for the help!

So it was time to put the beast through one of my favorite roads..
Lowering was what this monster needed, it took out the body roll and the Castrol SRF fluid was what it needed to inspire confidence carry some speed on the down hill sections.
I left all the driver aids on due to dirt on the road...
Yeah it's cool..
