I was planning on ordering and building to spec a new E63 and picking up sometime in March/April. But somehow the dealer had a white come in and asked if I wanted to come take a look. So I did. And that was the end of that. The car was shockingly almost the exact build I was going to do anyway. The only option I would have done differently was to do the black AMG wheels. Nonetheless, I'm completely blown away at this car. I'm coming from a 2015 f80 BMW M3.
My Grandfather got me interested in Mercedes from a very young age. He has a 1961 190D that is still running. I'm glad to say that I'm back in the Benz family.
I've had both, an apr stage 1 rs7 and now a 2018 wagon and I think they will be step for step. The launch is great in the wagon, very similar to my stock rs7. I'm getting ready to tune my wagon and renntech is claiming sub 3 0-60 and if that's true then the 400# extra won't matter. My two cents
Nice car, looks kinda like the white wagon in the other thread, same wheels and mirrors. Was that chrome boomerang thing on the front fender black also or did you black it out.? Mine is chrome and think I might make it black, it sticks out a little too much being chrome.
