Agreed...pretty quick for a stock ride. FS-Tuning in Orlando is a weistec shop.... they've arranged for weistec to come out next week to tune a handful of cars. Should be fun.

I still havent got my car on the dyno since the tune and while it feels good, it does not feel as good as my tuned RS7. Im on 91 octane and no other mods so i dont expect a 130 car in California but I do feel the the tq drop off on the E63S (dynos have shown it) creates a different feel at higher rpms than the plateau of tq in the RS7.

Almost thru the entire rpm cycle (usable range)--- low 2ks to 5500 but the speeds are similar on the same roads with same location launches. The RS7, tuned, has a higher more flat tq curve or at least my tuned car vs the tuned E63S.

I wish brother! Getting anxious over here. Moved it back to Thursday, due to the Weistec folks' travel plans. Dropping it off Wednesday sometime, and will get it back Thursday, assuming tuning is all complete. And then 1/2 mile races on Saturday!

Car is tuned, and it's a beast. Got one run in last night. If you compare the time slips from the stock runs, the car is doing much much better. It's got more in it too. Need some more runs and better rubber for sure...when these Michelins are done, gonna get some real tires on this thing. Traction is the main issue....this thing will be cutting mid 1.6 60fts for sure.

Car is stickered up and ready to race tomorrow. Should be fun. Uberwag is bringing his 650rwhp s212 wagon, and we have some other overpowered AMGs coming as well, including a 750rwhp (mustang dyno) w204 C63 running Stage 3 weistec blower and 200 shot of nitrous. And then there will be the super fast cars; loving watching those 2000 hp exotics hit 200mph/ w lots of turbo noise.

We all probably can or could but there nothing like a luxo GT car that goes 0-60 in under 3 seconds (with a tune), traps high 12X's in the quarter and has amazing luxury and tech to match. If there was no tune on this car Id still choose it over any other available sedan.

It was....ran a bunch of 152s as well. 152.6 was best of the day, which is great for the day, compared to the other rides there. I'll post some more later, but that's a very strong number for tune only on that day. Strong car

Video of my car against a stock Hellcat (think it was stock due to the mph he grabbed) w/ drag radials. He left early, and still caught him, and was leaving him behind. Shows how strong this car runs. Stock hellcats were running 146-149 throughout the day...also a strong car. Two of the guys I was with have Hellcats by the way.
Comparos for the curious:
- stock hellcats (several) ....146-149....some lower as well, but I would consider those anomalies (bad launch, etc)
- pure stage 1 FBO F10 M5.....154-155mph
- stock amg gts....147 mph
- turbo upgraded amg gts....153 mph
- turbo upgraded w212 amg...155 mph
- porsche 918....170mph...but wow what a car
- fbo w212 amg....148 mph
- huracan performante....157 mph

Figured I would start a thread to log the journey. Came from a 2014 E63s, and have had the 2018 for almost a week. Prior car was tuned, had catless downpipes, filters, two ECUs, and six tunes to choose from. Took all of that, and methanol/water injection to turn it into a consistent 10 second car...ran 10.9 at 129 all day day long. This new car feels much faster and smoother, due to the massively improved trans and chassis...really enjoying it.
Will keep this car fairly stock. Already lowered it via the Renntech module. Will tune and swap for some wider, and better offset, wheels eventually. First three pictures are lowered sensibly, with a pretty decent ride. The last is very low....still rides just fine, albeit quite firmly.
Really fun car.

Been a while. Hope everyone has been doing well. After thinking about getting rid of the e63 and looking at replacements, turns out, nothing grabbed my attention enough to make a change. So, the e is here to stay for a bit.
New bcforged 21s to be delivered this week. Just ordered downpipes and filters from shardul. Gonna send these turbos to pure once the dps arrive, and then ecu to DME for their stage 3 file, which should give me around 760whp on pump gas. Hopefully by midmonth the car will be complete.
will post updates and of course some vbox and track times
