Thread on disabled features on these cars that are available in Europe
#26
Car and options pricing are packaged by country, so the cost for options vary wildly.
I was going by German configuration. In the US, keyless Go is standard equipment and the remote parking feature may cost a couple hundred bucks
For reference, selecting keyless go (1440 Euro in Germany) reduces the remote parking package to 975 Euro. Still pricey
Looks you got a great deal in Norway

Ok now I feel like a dummy. I just found adoption under the assist menu. I think this is the key box to check in order to get the speed limit assist to function along with distronic. Next time I drive the car I'll hope it works, off to a hotel in my S550 now to play a pickle ball tournament but when I drive the Wagon next time I think I'll be in luck with the speed limit assist. So many menus and sub menus in these cars, I think I need to go back to engineering school for my doctorate, lol. I also set the speed limit threshold to plus 4 mph and I set the visual and audio warnings. Phew. It's really strange though because this page in my car is different than in Wolfman's car. I guess they must of changed the terminology either with my car or Wolfmans car. His car says Speed limit Pilot below traffic sign assist. My car refers to it as adoption as per the manual. When was your build Wolfman? Just trying to determine if you have the newer version or I do? My build was mid September.

Well the Speed matching of the signs displayed on the screen does infact work now on my car. The Key was checking off the Adoption box in the menu. I think the reason I missed this whole menu was because of the word "ASSISTANT" I was thinking clicking on that just listed a customer service number or something for Mercedes. Was driving down the highway 41 tonight and the speed limit changed 3 times and each time my car would automatically slow down or speed up depending on the speed limit, pretty darn cool feature. If you do by some chance set it manually by going either up or down on the cruise control stalk, you can simply match the speed limit by pulling the stalk towards you. Now all they need is red and green light detection that automatically stops the car at red lights and I'm good.

In the setting I found COMAND Touch and I attempted to connect but it just spins, I think because its looking for an app to respond. Anyone tried to set this up?

Nope
It's not available in the US. Canadian App Store is the nearest one but impossible to download... Are we missing anything?[/QUOT
Its pretty useless. Do you want anyone in the backseat to control your comand system?
Can't answer that because I'm not able to try it. Actually did manage to download by changing the setting on my apple ID to the UK and it worked.
