Thank you. I confused you with stealth.pilot for a moment. The first part of my reply was directed at him. He knows my history with other brands.
Unfortunately, this isn’t something I’d be comfortable helping with in future. It’s way too complicated. I learned this the hard way when I had to pull a fuse and yanked the wrong one. Thankfully I have the capability now to restore my car to “stock” using the diagnostic tool.
Are the lights in-fact different hardware than the US lights? Not just brain damaged through a software limit?
There are no major differences other than the reflector and sidemarker light from my limited research. I hope MBUSA retroactively allows a software update to enable full functionality.

If the lights were not that different you could have enable the EU software with Xentry system.

Not really. You have to scan the 2D barcode on the headlamp during the coding process. It rejected it on multiple attempts. The software for US cars isn’t ready.
I convert all my cars to a ECE spec so the lights were part of the plan.
Yep. A piece of highway debris destroyed both left wheels and tires. Both wheels were replaced and all 4 tires changed from Pirelli to Michelin. The total, after labor and all, was $7,200.

A Californian friend was joking earlier that we could rent the trunk space for $1200 a month in SF. He’s not wrong. I forgot how massive this rear is. Seriously this is the perfect car.
