Changes for MY2019 E63S?
Does anyone know if the MY2019 sedan / wagon will have the new AMG steering wheel and / or the new MBUX infotainment UI / system?

LOL--I hear you! I'm about 9 months out from replacing a car with (hopefully!) an E63S Wagon...and am filling my time counting down the days prior to submitting an order! Just trying to get as educated as possible in the meantime...

The new steering wheel and Comand/Distronic is possible as the roll-out of the E53 coupe/cab happens at the same time (at least in Europe). MBUX unknown

Doubt it. We wont see updates to the W213 interior and exterior until the mid model refresh AKA face-lift. The current W213 interior will be around until model year 2021 update. Is the W213 2nd screen close enough to the driver to be used as a touch screen?

Changes to UI, steering wheel and touchpad (which was pushed back from 2018 models) are not restricted to a facelift. These changes will happen by model year.
That said, a lot of times people read a mention of an intro year (like 2019) and mistake that for a MY2019 which is not the case. For example an intro for spring 2019 will be a MY20 for the US...

Also...fingers crossed they have the interior night package like what they offer on the AMG GT/S, since they already have those trim pieces they used in the Edition 1?

Yea dont believe MBUX will be on the 2019... maybe 2020 ? will release in the new A class... there is a pic of the redesigned GLE and it had it in the spy shots

Yeah--it's possible the all new MBUX infortainment interface may not be for MY2019, but I'm really curious if they change to the new steering wheels that has already started to filter through.

I guessed one update wrong. The 2019 E63 will get the new AMG steering wheel but not MBUX. See this thread:

Probably the steering wheel in the S63 or the upcoming E53 / CLS53? And no conflict with standard Dinamica wheel and Heated Steering Wheel, correct? Meaning, Heated Wheel won't default to a Nappa-only wheel?

seems like the changes to MY2019 will be mostly on the steering wheel for the E63 S.
the new look is finally online on the UK, France and German websites.
In the UK the E53 has substituted the E43 that seems to be no longer available.
delivery only in November onward
i don't think I can wait another 6 months

No E53 Wagon in U.S - only sedan. Wagon you can get either 450 or 63s. Look at this: 2019 E53 latest Info . It also shows the new MSRP pricing for 2019 models.
