Front End Collision Assist

i weave in and out of traffic a lot and I am constantly getting the car brake assist going off while the seatbelt locks up and yanks me good. Nothing like cutting someone off and then slamming on the breaks. I’ve turned this to the least sensitive setting but I’m still setting it off all the time. How do I completely disable it?

Ha ha... I almost spit my coffee out.
But lest this become another flame thread, I dare say I am curious as to just how sensitive this is. Compared with the W212 system, is it more sensitive?
Thanks and safe driving.

I tempted to say... maybe you thought you were a BMW driver... haha - Wasn't there an article stating BMW drivers were the worst?

W212 wagon
Def more sensitive than my ‘14. Rather annoying when changing lanes aggressively close to cars. Don’t want to fully turn it off just in case I actually need it one of these days.

You can go under the settings menu on the steering wheel, and adjust the sensitivity.

Go in the settings and turn it off. Same spot where you can turn off blind spot assist, etc
