My new 19 S213
Going to try to add some pics.
can people give their opinions on best company for a tune? Looks like you really need ECU and CPC correct? Is CPC like a TCU tune? Or is that a 3rd possibility?
forgive me for my newbie questions, this is my first MB.
Near the tail
From the tail of the dragon area of NC on my way home after buying this beast!!

Congrats on the beautiful wagon. Many people here have Eurocharged, Renntech, DME or PTG tunes and are happy with them. There are many others as well but I've probably seen the most feedback from these. CPC and TCU are completely different items, with CPC being ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY in my opinion (and unfortunately the most labor intensive) and TCU being the least. I have experience with all three from PTG, and they're great to work with.

Looks exactly like my 2020, except I don't have the blackout trim! Such a sleeper...

Renntech now offers CPC's aswell as their ECU tune. Solid tune and setup.
CPC is the first line of drivetrain defense and limits from Mercedes, the TCU being the second line of defense.
Whoever you go with, ask what they are adjusting and where they setting your TQ limits when it comes to CPC tuning. Very important as some companies are setting or removing TQ limits for customers to be happy and give positive reviews, at the expense of drivetrain longevity and sometimes customers pockets in repairs, heck i even heard of some CPC's not removing or adjusting any TQ limits lol.

Thanks for the input and responses.
so for TQ limit where should it be to keep the car safe but also enjoy the tuning upgrade?
also can any of you speak as specific tunes and good/bad experiences?
lastly and most importantly for me near term. Can anyone confirm that both an EVM and HSM won’t void my warranty?
I have a little under a year left on CPO from MB, so don’t want to void that, not immediately anyway. At the very least want a couple things repaired first, but am also excited at the prospect of being able to control exhaust and ride height so easily.

I will be making a write up soon with explaining how a tuned CPC works and the ins and outs.
ALOT comes into play with a question like that, and no straight response will be a definite answer. But I think its a great talking point for the community for all to discuss.
Depending on how open or limited your CPC or TCU tune is, there could be a big difference in a stage 1 ecu tune vs a stage 2, anytime you introduce BIG tq into the drivetrain, it will increase wear and potential failure, if not initially, eventually. That is why it is important to know exactly what your are purchasing and asking the correct questions.
Unfortunately 2 things the W213 AMG community needs to begin doing more of is, Datalogging and knowing the absolute basics of what you are purchasing and how your car is setup via a CPC/TCU tune, not knowing your TQ limits, which 9 out of 10 tuned W213 owners I talk to dont know, is a bit alarming lol.
