W213 E63s reliability?
If you've seen my other thread, you'll know my car is currently at the shop for an air suspension issue. I only drove the car for 2 days before the issue arose. CPO car with 2000 miles when I took delivery. I am curious as to what the general consensus is on the reliability of these cars. My wife has been driving a brand new S class loaner in the mean time so I am not heart broken about the car being in for service. Yet....
I headed down page to see how things were going in the "standard" E class forum. Its ugly down there. Prompted this post in fact. So I ask the internet... are these things any good? How much does the production date seem to be affecting the issues? (I'm 9/17).

I have had almost all the modules replaced at this point, rear suspension, rear diff and diff motor. However, despite all the issues with the car I have I still ordered a replacement E63s and am hoping it will be more reliable.
I honestly think it’s luck as most of the people on this forum have had no or very little issues with their cars.

Tough call man. I love the car, but I'm dumping mine when it gets out of the shop. Shoulda kept my m5 allocation. Maybe the 2019 or 2020 model will be worth 125k; the 2018 is not IMO.

I’m on my 2nd 2018
But to be fair none of my issues are mechanical. My car was delivered with a mismatched interior and missing software that was acknowledged but a refresh wasn’t coming for 8-12 months or more. I had an opportunity to move into something closer to what I tried to order and now I am happier but my bank account isn’t lol
