I did like the wagon and gave it a serious think. My wife was like no way, not happening, but I thought they were cool. Then when we saw them in Germany, she said oops, we might have made a mistake as the wagons really are very nice.

They grow on me more every time I see one.

The wagon is a sleeper, even with all the pops and bangs! Can't wait until mine is broken in.

So on the sedan I have ambient lighting that lets me select from a bazillion colors but that's all. Is the wagon different? Doug shows some color modes that I don't see.

Or is this a firmware upgrade I don't have yet?

Seems like it was a mid year refresh and it's not clear yet whether it is a firmware upgrade or whether new hardware is required.

My sedan has the same features he showed. Its build date was 10/10/17.

When I picked it up at the factory in Germany, I was told during my orientation that the updates had occurred a few weeks earlier. So probably somewhere around third week of September.

Ah yes, I was going to post this here but figured some one would :) Doug is a funny guy haha. I always enjoy his reviews too.

There are also some choices that only show up if you check or uncheck boxes in the lighting menu.

He is a goofy funny guy, I love his facial expressions while driving it. I'm hoping that the Continental tires on this wagon are snow tires. I told my dealer that I would not take delivery of any car with Continental tires. Continentals and New Orleans pot holes do not mix. My Audi S6 and my daughters VW GLI went through a whole set (each car) and some bent rims. Didn't have an issue after I switched to Michelins.
