There's also the chance those pictures are of actual OEM rims, not the item for sale...

Maybe catfishing you...

Anyway, I'm always leery of things that SHOULD be full price on the internet selling for WAY less than they should.

Seriously? We are talking less than $1k negotiated right? With PayPal this is really a low risk scenario as the risk against chargeback or resolution cases are stacked against the seller. Just type the conditions into the PP transaction. Also the offset of the pic is actually correct unlike listed in the ad.

Here are a couple pics of an original wheel...

the pics sure are legit (real oem). Like the other poster said, getting the real thing may be questionable.

Not sure why you are still interested ? These wheels cannot fit your W204 C class car .. unless you are going to trade that in for a E63, then the wheels WILL fit.

Oops. Was just looking at the wheels only, not that they should fit a W204. To the OP, just get proper wheels for your car...

As I had explained yesterday. The #1 main issue is with the wheel extending out by over 30mm, that's a lot and it puts more stress on your suspension component as the wheel weight has shifted outward. The other problem you will have is when the extended wheel travels up and down, it will likely hit your outer wheel well and caused rubbing.

Getting the right tires to mount onto these wheels are not the issue per se.

In the end, I would hate to see you spend the $ and not able to use them at all. Well, at least you could flip them and try to resell them for more than you paid.

Or they could make a stylish base for a flower pot.

Sweet. They look like they're Juuuuust barely poking out too far, probably the offset. No trouble with rubbing on bumps or turning, throwing rocks up the side of the car, etc?

Nice to hear they're legit.

Looks weird from 5m away. Do you have a front photo?
In Europe, a car isn't street legal if any moving part (wheels) is overlaping the body. That's why a new S63 Coupe/Cab have a tiny plastic trim on a fender.

I know but if you are throwing rocks (don't believe you gotta be rally driving, it happens all the time), you might damage other cars (windshields, paint...)

You may not care about legal but you should care about other people's property and other car owners in general.

Walk down the street and randomly look at the next 10 vehicles you see. Chances are- my driving, my awareness, how I drive a Mercedes, and where I drive a mercedes won't give you a rock chip. The 10 vehicles you just looked at might. No mudflaps, larger truck tires, winter tires in the summer, Jeep's, motorcycles, etc. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing. I don't think you realize how small- a few millimetres actually are when it comes to rock chips. Weren't you one of the people that said I wouldn't even be able to get them on? lol

Well, you are saying that others are worse than you so you don't have to care. Have you stopped brushing your teeth because there may be other people who shower once a month?
All I'm saying it looks weird from afar and your response was "perfect". No, it isn't perfect. Perfection is a whole different term you shouldn't be using in this case.
I couldn't care less about non-matching wheels on an old C-Class.

Me neither, but the car is for my 17 year old son. I do care about people's property. Except yours. I don't care about yours. I would like to drive in front of you on a gravel road. Now **** off.

So for you it's not perfect but it's perfect for your son? Well, the retardation must be getting stronger and stronger in each new generation.

First off, you got an absolute killer deal on the wheels. $700 for a new set of take-offs is as low as anyone can find it
But there is no need to be defensive. The info posted by others re. the offset is not only legit, but it is exactly what you asked for in your post.

From the pic you posted the wheels look like they work but the front ones extend the fender lip, as expected. They will work in normal driving but there is a risk. Normal C-class will have a soft suspension. A dip in the road at speed can easily damage the fenders and/or tires (or a blow-out). Just FYI...
