51/50 psi, isn't that the pressure for doing like 150+ MPH driving? How is the ride with the pressure set that high?

I had mine set to 41/36 or there about and that seemed fine. But I noticed that when picked the car up from service after they replaced the left rear strut and fiddled with the anti-sway bar that the tires were set to 41 all the way around.

That would be fine if I had passengers or some junk in the trunk, but mostly it's just me tooling to work and back.

My car rides fine.
Stock calls for 51,49 and running on lower pressures will make the soft sidewalls even softer in the corners... If they set your car at 41psi. all around they should not be working at a Mercedes dealership.

51/49 is full laden with 5 people and 4 suitcases... and speeds up 180 mph...

the inside of the gas cap denotes the suggested psi's

Nice if you are an old lady but us old men like a car that corners precisely and body roll due to sidewall squirm is for those damn kids....

If you are lowered and run the lower air pressure check your inside tire before you need a call for a flatbed tow..

I did run a lower pressure at first but I could feel the difference for the better in the canyons with the higher speed settings.
Ya never know when ya feel the need to out pace a Ducati from time to time..

Ohhhhh inside makes more sense with all the negative camber and front weight. You may want pull out a little camber especially since you have wider wheels up front. I still think you have toe out and the inside is scrubbing a little. Maybe it moved or they were a little off on there reads

Curious to see what the numbers come up at

Off-topic question. Do you have any inner tire wear due to lowering ? I was running on snows for a long time due to the lousy weather. A bit of inner wear on the fronts but normal in the rears... First time I haven't done an alignment after lowering... Am actually surprised how unaffected the car is.

Im on the PS4's with even wear the last time it was on the rack (a week ago) but Im also not racking up a ton of miles but even after 2200 and being lowered from mile 125 or so I would see wear.

Now I am seeing alot of tq wear in the rears LOL.

Related to tire wear, anyone else getting new tire purchase reminders from their dealer or Mercedes telling them its time for new tires?

I have a bit over 7500 miles and my tires are still in pretty good shape. Wondering how hard Mercedes thinks I am driving this car?

I'm sort of half hoping they'll wear out soon so that I can get rid of the Pirellis and get on PS4s, but for now the Pirellis are OK for my daily 5 mile commute . . .

I was at 5,200 mi. and the wear was fine except for the fronts..
The new set of PS4s 285/305 should grip better and last longer without slowing down..We'll see.

The best kind of tire wear
We drove over 5k miles on the snows, lowered, so the wear is minimal...

As I expected from the website for these bushings, the bushings sent are the wrong size and I've wasted my time...

Not really all that different to be honest but going from a -2.7 to a -1.8 will do the job for me.

I'm getting a set of Zito wheels 10x20 and 11x20, after tomorrow's test fitment I will be posting pictures...
