So I got word that my 2019 amg wagon in port and now waiting to be released by MB, anyone have any inside lines as to when they will release?

All over the board - some say mid-August, my SA says between Aug and end of September, MBUSA rep says mid September.

I am in the "forget you ordered it and wait for the call" camp...

Expect deliveries around end of Sept or mid-Oct

Same darn thing happened to a lot of people last summer, cars sat at the VPC a long time. I got lucky with mine, it was built last Sept 7th and I got the car Oct 20th. ordered it early May the year before this year.

hopefully they do a better job this year and it does release early-mid Sept. Fingers Crossed

They released them on Oct 2nd last year. I fairly certain the E63's motor was EPA certified alongside the GT-R's last year in June, so they just held them until October for "business reasons", the same thing they're doing this year. There's no "doing a better job". The hold is on purpose.

My guess is they are trying to give the dealers who may have some 18's on the lot a chance to sell to those 'who got to have it now". bummer.. thought I'd be in mine already

Since youre in Utah, does your car come through the LA Port?

none of have 18's left really lol...

I do have 3 e63 sedans at port, available... 1 wagon in production as well

Have the released the E63 S wagons from the port as of yet? Seems like different answers from different dealers
