Listen, I feel you. I put a deposit down and my order in in April. In my experiences with ordering BMWs I’ve never seen something like this where the manufacturer keeps all of the same vehicles at the VPC for marketing reason-delays — especially when it’s not a launch year.
Youre just going to make yourself crazier when you don’t get the responses that provide some comfort.
So, yeah, seeking comfort, but also seeking info to make informed decision whether to wait or walk bc no choice since lease term is quickly approaching...

Listen, I feel you. I put a deposit down and my order in in April. In my experiences with ordering BMWs I’ve never seen something like this where the manufacturer keeps all of the same vehicles at the VPC for marketing reason-delays — especially when it’s not a launch year.
Youre just going to make yourself crazier when you don’t get the responses that provide some comfort.

ha... I really really dont think December btw.. early Nov is possible, heck Sept is still possible..... Im still really thinking it'll be Oct honestly based on what Ive talked to with a couple people so fingers crossed.. I need them released as bad as anyone lol..

Agreed—also, strongly considering (due to lease ending on family car), how seriously I need to search for an alternative, which is the real “concern” versus just having delivery expectations met, you know?

I put a deposit down on Feb 12th 2018, sold my Porsche beginning of July, and currently driving around my mom's Corolla; and I'm pretty sure she'll want her car back soon. I will likely have to rent or borrow someone else's car until I get the E63. I will be patient for now; what else can you do. And I will demand for a bigger discount once car arrives - 4% off won't cut it.

Guy who ordered this maximum spec is an ***, it's not easy to sell an E63 at over $140k with options most would rather skip.

i ended up switching to white on brown - wanted a change from all my previous cars. Scared at first but after i saw it, loved it. Most friends who have seen it have commented positivley - those that havent tend to like black on black they say

Yea I dont think there are many wrong colors on the E63 in general...wish there were more options honestly. Diamond White on dark brown is nice

For the last two weeks I read and reread this build and drool. If I was ordering I’d spec all the options other than brakes. I’m jealous of whoever ends up snatching this beauty. Heck if I didn’t know I’d take a huge bath on my 1 year old Audi I would be mailing an earnest check now.
