You should start taking non-refundable deposits to deter people from flaking. Amazing build and sorry you have to deal with that. |
If I didn’t have one nearing port, I’d consider for sure. Amazing build. So sorry you’re dealing with this issue. Integrity should be shown on both sides of a deal—too often, buyers view it only from their end of things. Good luck with sale. |

This is the bane that sponsor retailers have to deal with. I dont think they can do non refundable deposits either (depends on state law).

Thanks all.. yea I was a bit upset about it.. anyhow.. I appreciate it all
I can't do non refundable deposits...we just do our best to make sure the builds are accurate before they lock and terms have been discussed Hardest part is getting lease numbers on new model year orders when we have no residuals until launch usually.. leap of faith on all our parts If anyone wants I will do a decent $ off.. |

Swet build, wish you were local, ie., my country! Best of luck.
Don't see why you can't do non-refundable deposits, dealers do that here all the time once the order is locked in, heck i do it when selling a used car if needed. Cheers |

I’ll send this to some friends. Did the potential buyer give any explanation for flaking?

Whats sad is that so many potential buyers come here and ask questions. The good community then answers them while the majority of these potential buyers dont even pull the trigger; this is the way of the forum process.
But, I hate that someone made a unique build and backed out... as if they knew they could and in the meantime leave the dealer with a build that just might not sell as easy if they were to build their own car from an allocation. Again this is the risk a sponsor takes but ... dang, this is a 143k build wagon. Its top heavy. |

Yea he did.. I'd rather not start anything though

Crazy. When i make my commitment on a car I'm buying that car unless it comes in wrong or a major life change. Then again i understand why nonrefundable deposits are illegal in most places. My dealer has never asked me fot a deposit anyway. No point if it's refundable..

Sweet build! |
I can live with white exterior, just not sure about the brown. If it makes it to the showroom I'll come check it out
|
Good luck with sale. It has everything except the Burmester.

The 19's don't come with Burmester? I know the 18's do.

I think the stock system in the 18 is good enough..much better than the stock system in the 16.
|
I think the white on brown is beautiful I've seen on many cars..

Man that's the exact interior/exterior color combo I was looking at and came close to ordering (but did NOT!), though I didn't spec it near that rich. Mine was more like $125k sticker, dealer was going to knock $10k off but the lease terms were still a little too rich for my blood.
Good luck finding a home for it - someone is going to be very happy with it, no doubt! |
WOW... top specs. Very nice for someone that wants a loaded E63.
