What kind of sales discounts are people getting?
Thinking of replacing my beloved W212 E63S with the W213 E63 S.
I got 8 1/2% off MSRP on my W212 which was a custom order. I was just offered 6% off on a W213 sedan. What kind of discounts are people getting? Am geographically flexible. |

What states are the dealers you guys are getting discounts from!?!? |
CT Dealers wouldnt offer me more than 2-3% on a custom build. Most were trading to get allocations for builds.

I got 9% discount but will most likely try to get it to 10% once the car lands if not I am happy with the 9%. I got my car from my Dealer in NY. My families been going to the dealer for over 16 years.

You guys have done well. You'll probably laugh at me but for the Edition 1 wagon I purchased (MSRP: $144,738) I actually paid a premium of $10k over this as it is one of three in the U.S. (Magno Black). It is also the most loaded of the three which is unusual as all of the Edition 1 sedans are the same. How these came about I'm still trying to figure out. Though I went back and forth with the dealership, they wouldn't budge, only giving concessions on shipping and replacing the tires from Pirelli with PS4. Was it worth it? For me, yes in that it's unique but it doesn't perform any better than a polar white wagon so good on all of you that can get these discounts on the MSRP.

Wow that's pretty good. Is your dealer in the 5 boroughs? I'm located on Long Island.

Thats pretty awesome. What sort of timeframe are you guys being quoted for a custom build on the W213s these days? 4 to 6 months or longer?

What fleet discount? The 2019 don't even have that.

I got $5200 off from the sticker and a few more grand for my trade in.

Depends on what time of the year you buy and where you are. It will be much easier to get a deal when the '19s start "flooding" the market (relatively speaking). It will be harder once the initial rush ends and they become kind of scarce. I'd walk away from anything less than 5% off sticker. Anything past that you'll need to find a dealer that does so much business they aren't sweating a couple percent or they're giving you goodwill for being a repeat customer. Allocations get difficult to source about halfway through the year so dealers that have cars to sell have a little more leverage.

I got 8.5% off of my car. I ordered it, it was not dealer stock. Wound up being about 11K off of sticker. I am in NJ. We have bought many cars from this dealer and we do know the owner. Still was shocked at the deal offered!

Sounds more like it. Would buy immediately if I could find a dealer that would give me anything approaching that.
You won't be able to get the Mercedes F U C K up money which is key to that magnitude of discount (I was in the same boat as him). You could get a $2000 United Premier discount on top of the 6%. That would bring it to almost 8%. If you don't have Uniter Premier, you can get it by either getting their credit card, or by linking your United Miles account to a Marriott Rewards Platinum account, or by status matching another airline. |

Ordered a 19 wagon back in April. First Mercedes purchase. What should my approach be in bargaining for a discount? Knowledge of others getting a discount? Ridiculous delays?
