MY19 Launch Schedule
#226
This basically looks like the schedule posted on p1 of this thread. The only greater specificity is that the release is at the beginning of the month as opposed to the end? Or am I missing something?

Ugh...so as of now it does not look like the E63S will get to owner’s hands prior to end of November?

Still very frustrating waiting for a call that I was told I would have in August. No parts delay. Just poor communication to dealer/SA. I am seriously considering the M5, but will wait to see what if any additional concessions the dealer is willing to make on the car with a 4 month delay. Should be great driving with high performance summer tires in the middle of winter. I think they should cover the cost for high performance all season tires such as the conti ct dws 06.

optional in EU in the E63S. also optional the illuminated door sills (front. don't know why there are none on the rear doors. this is not a coupe or a 2 seat...)

I'm guessing that the general timeline is consistent with the first page and that mid- to late-Oct will see the e53 / S63 and then mid- to late-Nov will see the C and E63. I'm sure some of this is dictated by logistics and transport carriers as much as EPA releases. I don't understand why the E63 is after the S63 if they're prioritizing higher-volume cars, but maybe they're also trying to optimize mix of types of cars.

I'm driving to Vegas tomorrow morning and picking up my 2019 E450 Coupe. It's been a long wait. I ordered a 2018 E400 Coupe 1/29/2018. After my dealer realized that it couldn't be produced with the Premium 3 Package, she said I'd have to settle for a Premium 2 car or order (and wait) for a 2019 with a more powerful engine, new steering wheel etc. I decided to wait and ordered it in April.
The dealer sent me these yesterday and apologized because it hadn't been cleaned yet. I'm ready, and I'm sure she will tomorrow! My wife thinks I goofy because I'm referring to her as Merci Blucoupe... vanity license will be BLUCOUP. I've checked the state licensing and it is available. It's hard to tell from the lighting in the picture but it is Lunar Blue Metallic. I feel like I'm 14 years old, but I can tell I'm not alone around here...right folks?

Congrats to those getting their cars!
For those of us still waiting...I’m just glad tomorrow is officially October...still hoping for expectations to be beat and cars to be released prior to December.

Sales still in the tank, no surprise, but "increased availability" in October:

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported September sales of 26,169 Mercedes-Benz models, a decrease of 9.8% from September 2017. Mercedes-Benz Vans reported best-ever month of 4,448 units (up 44.0%) and smart reported 98 units, bringing MBUSA to a grand total of 30,715 vehicles for the month. On a year-to-date basis, sales of Mercedes-Benz vehicles totaled 225,384, with an additional 28,023 units for Vans and 959 vehicles for smart, bringing the sales volume to 254,366, a decrease of 5.8% from last year.
“Customer demand remains consistently strong, but our inventory levels are still impacted by delays in availability of many of our most popular 2019 models,” said Dietmar Exler, president and CEO of MBUSA. “We expect increased availability throughout October and for the remainder of the year.”
Mercedes-Benz volume leaders in September included the GLC, C-Class and E-Class model lines. The GLC took the lead at 6,070, followed by C-Class sales of 4,682. The E-Class rounded out the top three with 4,072 units sold.
September sales of Mercedes-AMG high-performance totaled 1,378 units, with 20,738 vehicles sold year-to-date.
Separately, Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) models recorded sales of 10,274 vehicles in September, an increase of 17.8% when compared to the same month last year (8,725). On a year-to-date basis, MBCPO sold 95,569 vehicles, an increase of 9.0% over 2017 (87,677).
