Well - after sitting anchored a few miles away from the VPC Baltimore port for the past 40 hours - and with tomorrow being exactly 1 week of delay from its original scheduled arrival at port - the ship Orion Highway carrying my C63S coupe has moored!
Hoping this beast could arrive at the dealer in NY by next Friday 7th, but I think that would be pushing it. Thoughts?
Does the staff at VPC work weekends? I would imagine this time of year they are cranking 7 days per week, but I don’t know.
I'd recommend following the manual's 1,000 mile instructions. They can track everything now. Better safe than sorry.
Yup. A manufacturer’s best friend is usable evidence to blame a customer for “user error” that caused the catastrophic damage and thereby deny a big claim.

Drive is going great! In Little Rock tonight and will be back in Dallas tomorrow...and ready to mess around with launch control. Was able to do some DIY paint protection in a Home Depot parking lot. Spacers should be waiting for me and my actual PPF is scheduled for Tuesday.

I went with the same spec but have nut brown interior and the flowing lines. Congrats to everyone that got their cars or are finally getting them. I really cant wait till January lol. I am curious are are cars shipped from Germany to the US. Are they shipped in containers or is there another ship that they use? How long does it take for them to get shipped from German to the US from the car finally made to the time it enters port.
Love the DIY PPT (Paint Protection Tape). Should do the side mirrors and rear quarters behind the wheels!
