Selling my '18 E63s Wagon, ? about value
I haves to sell my 18 wagon. Spectacular car with 9800 miles. Silver on black. Most every option. MSRP was 121k. I was thinking about 98 to 103 based on KBB trade in but that is not always accurate for cars in this range. I noticed very few of these on autotrader and 19's may be a ways off. Anyone trade one in or sell outright? I Do not want to price it too high but need to make the most of my sale.

MSRP 120910- triple net of what the deal paid to MBUSA is circa 106400. 9800 miles is a bit heavy on this car so from a wholesale view (dealer ACV or straight auction) this car is 90k or very close. If its super clean than a private party will garner more.

Thanks! I will list it at 103k and see what I get. There are not many for sale currently so maybe I will get luck. |

Please don’t praise Vic publicly. It goes to his head and then he ends demanding I always pick up the tab at Olive Garden. |

I have a nearly identical car. Difference is it is CPO. How much value do you think it adds to the cars? Thanks

CPO for an AMG is about $1200-$1500 |
I think you will do much better than 93k. There are only 9 E63S Estates for sale in the country - that's both new and used. You can get at $105k for this one. There are only 2 used ones for sale and are listed at $115k.
Check Autotrader to see where the market is. |

Check Autotrader to see where the market is. Now thats not saying the OP cant sell it for more to a private party but the wholesale/dealer market will be well under triple net. Further, supply and demand of the wagon is just that; there are less cause the demand is less. Autotrader and Cars.Com are just asking prices but rarely if ever do they sell at these asking prices. Now Porsche is a different story with such limited 991.2's out there and the demand is still up. The only wagon that has sold at Manheim was a 5.0 car (perfect) with 925 miles for 103k back in April. |
Yep gotta be a private sale to get decent money, hard to find buyers though for these cars private sale though I've found.
|
Yeap, there are so few on AT because hardly anyone buys them. Tough secondary market for resale. Leasing ftw.
|
Wow
I let you know what it sells for. If only takes one buyer! Got a low ball offer of 83k today...ugh. |

Doubt it my friend, no Benz dealer will give what it costs them to acquire it new. Remember this car has 9k miles and can not be leased.
