Has anyone here pulled the trigger and installed the new Akrapovic exhaust?
Im guessing the answer is no, since we probably would have seen some “sound clips” posted or at least install pics, but I’m curious if anyone has bought the exhaust and noticed any noteable power and/or sound upgrade.

From Akra's own sound clips on their website, it doesn't sound that much better compared to stock, imho. I'm assuming by stock they mean AMG performance exhaust. I'm sure the Akra system is louder in the flesh, definitely will be lighter, and there will be some, maybe not so noticeable, power gain.

I'm sure some drivers in Europe and/or Russia have it installed.

yeah heir website claims a gain of around 54lbs of torque at 2500 RPMs. I’m still just inclined to stick with the performance exhaust my wagon is coming with, but as someone who’s had Akra on several cars, I do think they make great quality exhausts. But with how the AMG performance exhausts sound for the W213 E63, I’m not sure the price tag for the Akra is worth it even with the claimed gains.

The customer wanted it to remain private so no videos or photos were able to recorded/taken. I have a set of the Akrapovic carbon fiber tips in stock if anyone is interested in them. They are really great looking tips. I have them in stock and we can install them on your car whenever you like. If you are looking to help make your car stand out from the others than this is a great way to accomplish that. Let me know and I can put them on for you or ship them out to you right away.
The exhaust is a tough sell for this car as the factory sports exhaust is such a great product. The fact that the stock exhaust is basically just straight pipes to the muffler makes it hard for a lot of people to warrant spending that much money to change it. If you are looking to decrease weight in your car than this is definitely one way to easily accomplish that, the Mercedes E63 however is not intended to be a lightweight car. Only a small percentage of people will go after weight reduction. I am sure that the small percentage that will look to reduce weight in the car for performance are on this forum though.
On another level the Akrapovic parts are really a work of art. They may very well be the best exhaust company in the world, if not the best they are definitely in the top 1%. The attention to detail is astounding, the instructions are amazing, the packaging is really good and they address the marketing is a very different way than most companies. They have their own magazine that is printed like a premium publication like GQ. It's all about Akrapovic exhausts, lifestyle and the people that use their products. I can't imagine what it takes for them to put together all this stuff, it's very impressive.

I never really sold much Akrapovic before, I guess I wasn't competing with the discounted pricing haha. They do not offer a lot of margin in the product line nowadays as it is a premium product. Any discount you apply to the product will seriously hinder ones ability to pay the bills. I guess that's one way to limit the discounting.

Im in San Diego and have loved their products (for my 2017 X5M, 2015 TTS, 2013 C2S, 2013 F10 M5, 2013 E92 M3 and 2010 C63) but Im not sure if what I heard the retail price is for E63 system is worth swapping it out for my (not yet delivered) E63 Wagon's Performance Exhaust.

Got mine installed about 2 weeks ago..slightly more bass and slightly louder compared to performance exhaust. I feel it loses abit of the V8 sound...sounds smoother.
only thing is I’m still trying to find out is if the valves open fully at idle or only at WOT. Cold start it opens fully but then closes ( not fully ) once it’s warm up with the exhaust button activated and / or sports plus race modes.
was hoping it would be just abit louder
