Which dealers in Houston offered the 4.5 percent off? I am currently in the market for a custom build AMG E63S Wagon and also in Houston. Thanks so much!

Last October, I had an order with a Northern Cal. dealer for MSRP, although they did not have an allocation. I waited 3 months for an allocation that never came, and finally went out of state with EuroMotorCars Germantown who had an open allocation at the time for a May, 2018 build. Very happy I did since I would probably be still waiting on a 2019. Had to pay extra to move it across the country, but well worth it given the nice discount from MSRP.
With respect to the HUD, I'm not sure if I would wait for an extra 6 mos. or whatever, but I love that feature!

OP, can you tell me where in NorCal you test drove a 2018 E63S? I've been looking and can't find one. I'm considering ordering a 2019 and it seems crazy if I've never been able to drive one...

Was in Southern California for work and ended up test driving one at Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach. Wasn't able to locate one in NorCal either unfortunately.

For everyone who has a 2019 on order, was the discount percentage taken off of MSRP dependent upon whether you were purchasing or leasing, or does it not matter? Thank you.

I recently test drove a 2018 E63s and now looking to custom build one. I went to MBUSA.com and built a vehicle and sent that out to a few dealerships and waiting to hear back. Just wanted to ask everyone here what I can expect in terms of pricing/availability. Dealer #1 is already saying that there is no discount on custom builds so it would have to be full sticker but that they won't charge me anything over sticker. They want a $5000 non-refundable deposit and think that I could have the vehicle around Christmas time. Not sure if they are just over-promising on that timeline to get the sale or not.
Other dealers are saying mid-February, but haven't gotten back about pricing yet.
For everyone waiting on a 2019 E63s, what kind of deals or discounts have you received? Do you generally just ask for a percentage off MSRP? Is there any wiggle-room on a custom build? I plan on buying vs leasing but not sure how that affects the equation.
Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone!

Thank you everyone for all your help. Ordered a MY2019 AMG E63S today. It is a December build and should be available by Jan 2019.

Hopefully there's improvement since last year where my Jan build/Feb Delivery became an April build with a May delivery.

How much is invoice? Different dealers have told me different prices are their invoice pricing. How do you know it is really their invoice price? It seems like they just make up what their invoice price is on the fly.

I'm hoping so too. The dealer said its a December build with delivery in January. Hoping that isn't the dealer just telling me what I want to hear so that I buy from him.
