listed my E63 S AMG wagon on Swapalease

Hi all, I just put my 2018 E63S AMG wagon up on Swapalease.com: http://www.swapalease.com/lease/deta...?salid=1304502

Car is in New York City and has 24 months left on the lease, $1,869/mo payment, just under 800 miles/mo remaining. Window sticker attached, other details are in the listing. Please post or PM any questions. Would love to see the car go to somebody on the forum.

I’m confused, you’re only allowed 22k miles throughout your lease?

Oh and it’s gorgeous!

Edit: Your lease must have been 7500 miles a year. My bad.

Thanks man. I'm really going to miss it. Yes it's a 7,500 miles/year lease.

Cardinal red on a wagon is amazing. Wish I could afford something like this.

Every other car I've owned has been gray or silver. I'm usually not a fan of red unless it's on something like a Ferrari or Corvette, or the Viper from back in the day. But on this car it just felt right.

On an unrelated note, I think it would be fun to start a blog where I list the ideal color for every car, and have people comment or vote on it. For example: Ferrari 488 - red. Mercedes AMG GT - silver. Cadillac Escalade - black. BMW i8 - white. Lamborghini Huracan - orange. And so on.

I wish you luck. They denied credit for 4 applicants on my car--one of them showed provable income of almost $300K and a credit score of 802. When he called MB Fin, they refused to explain why... sigh.

Do you know if s/he still has to pay the transfer fee even though denied?

No fees required for just the credit app.

Sounds like MB finance does not want people transferring leases. Well, if anyone is looking for one @ at a cash deal I'm thinking of selling my red w nut brown loaded AMG Wagon. I would not take anything under 103K though. Over 20 grand loss is enough to take in a year.

Any particular reason?

As far as I remember almost in every single thread you've been telling us you're going to keep your car for at least 100k miles and more than 7 years ))))

Well things change in life sometimes. I really need a car I can just put miles on and not worry about depreciating it, before I depreciate my AMG a real lot,I think its best that I just sell the car. I already have 14,300 miles on the car. I don't want to continue putting these kind of miles on this car and it does not make much sense for the car to just take up space in the garage if I'm not driving it, so just trying to get back what I can on the car, it was a sticker price of 122.5 K new so for a tad over 100K this car could be a good deal for someone who is looking for one that has been super well taken care of and not used hard. I have not even done one race start in the car.

Why are you swapping out of your E63? Is it not that great of a car that it warrants being kept? Do you have any complaints/qualms with the car?

With me wanting to sell my car nothing to do with the car itself, just my circumstances of needing a car more suited to be driven long distances and as much of all out sports car which is what the AMG truly is, the performance is totally amazing on the the AMG. I think Limey was trying to get rid of his lease as he was thinking about a BMW M5, but it sounds like he may not be able to do that until his lease is over. I know though he was very happy with his AMG at least from his previous posts, he just wanted a change.

Same with me, I love the car and have had no problems with it, just would be preferable if I can transfer the lease and get into something less expensive now for personal reasons. That's the problem with leases - you can't always see three years into your future with perfect clarity. Hopefully the 2 remaining years on the lease + no downpayment or deposit will appeal to a buyer who wants to try this car out and not be on the hook for depreciation. Two years later, hand the keys back to the dealer and walk away.

2018 E63 S AMG Wagon
UPDATE: I increased the cash incentive to almost $6,500, so the effective monthly payment is $1,599/mo. It's now the best priced E63 S AMG on Swapalease, and the only wagon in the Northeast. PM or hit me up on Swapalease with any questions. At $1,599/mo for 24 months it's a good opportunity for someone who wants the AMG experience at a great price!
